Perse nella siepe
Il lauroceraso (Prunus laurocerasus) è onnipresente nei giardini, quasi sempre ridotto a far da muro, una monotona parete verde di separazione tra giardino e giardino o tra giardino e strada. Così, martoriato da impietose potature, ha rinunciato quasi sempre a fiorire. Eppure sarebbe anzi è un cespuglio che se rispettato arriva col tempo a dimensioni notevoli, arboree e, in fioritura, ad avere un aspetto maestoso, degno di una grande pianta ornamentale. Prima delle piogge ne ho fotografato i racemi: che perfezione! La condivido con voi. Quante cose belle vanno perse costringendo un albero a far da siepe...

Questa è la pianta ( una sola) è di circa 50 anni ed è soggetta solo a minime potature ( i maggiori "interventi" li fa la neve che qui cade copiosa)
